Gangnam’s media artwork, which recently became a global topic.
Also shows Korea, the center of the industry. We think that the spots such as Times Square, Las Vegas, and Hong Kong are different from Korea, probably due to differences in the quality of artwork produced through artists.
From the concept stage of the media sculpture to the production of the final artwork for two years, Habitant led in the huge shift of Seoul Korea.
To realize public functions beyond commercial purposes, the Time signal art-sculpture located in the center of Gangnam delivers time data through the giant & brand new owl clock.
The air of the sadness of the coronavirus. In the meantime, the gaze of children in the car, spectators, and citizens gazing at the giant owl is full of joy.
남녀노소, 어른, 아이 구분 짓지 않고 친근하게 다가가기 위해 아이콘 구축을 목표로 특정한 스타일에 편중되지 않고 대중적으로 호감을 느낄 수 있는 절제된 콘텐츠가 필요하다 생각되어 테크놀로지 기술은 지양하였다.
지혜를 상징하는 천연기념물 수리부엉이를 소재로 찰나의 순간 정보를 줄 수 있는 부엉이 시계를 연출했다.
10.7m x 29.6m 미디워 타워, Giant를 강조하기 위해 장식 구조물과 자연 구조물을 추가하여 거대 스케일감을 구축했다.
낮 시간의 부엉이는 숲속 정원 느낌으로 따뜻하게 제작되었고 밤 시간의 부엉이는 귀갓길을 지켜주는 수호신의 느낌으로 차분하고 무게감 있게 제작되었다.
